The Highwayman's Letter by Martha Keyes

This clean Regency romance bridges social classes. I loved learning about the problems with the postal system, debtor's prison, and highway men.  But, most of all, I liked how the practical heroine found her voice and paved the way for her own happy ending.  The hero's life also illustrated how forgiveness and kindness transform one into his best self. The light moments in this book made me smile and chuckle, and this story was definitely an enjoyable read.
