Love in the Ballroom by Kasey Stockton

This dual perspective Regency story is told through the eyes of an eager young heroine and also through the eyes of a noble young gentleman. Their path to romance includes lots of hiccups such as guardianship, the horrors of slavery, illegitimacy, greed, and society’s expectations. From beginning to end, it was interesting. I especially liked the inclusion of an anti-slavery society and two great examples of happy adoptions.
