The Widow and the Highlander by Martha Keyes

 This book was so good that it was painful to put it down. I loved the setting, the spunky female characters, trusty, heroic Lachlan, and the adventure and mystery in the storyline. I booed the nefarious characters in my head and even out loud. I circled the release date for the next installment in the series on my calendar. I'm clearing my schedule now because I don't want to wait to continue this story.
