Well-written story told though the optimistic perspective of Amelia.  As she hits rock bottom in her life, Amelia reaches out to help Jack, who she thinks is a homeless musician, and discovers that helping others has its own reward.  Amelia finds love, familial and romantic, in unexpected places.

This book is number 7 in a series, yet was the first one that I read in that series.  I liked it enough that I'm adding all the other books to my tbr shelf:)
